Bridges

USI provides all aspects of bridge and culvert design, including permit applications, load rating analysis, feasibility studies, analysis of funding options and federal aid application preparation and design plans for rehabilitation and new construction.

All engineering projects are completed using computer aided design and drafting software packages, such as Land Development Desktop's design modules operating within AutoCAD 2004 and various structural design packages for bridges. USI also provides hydrologic and hydraulic design for culvert and bridge stream crossing utilizing HEC RAS, Hy8  and, HAESTAD's Culvert Master.

USI also employs an expert team of bridge inspectors that provide regular,  in-depth, fracture critical, and underwater bridge inspections in accordance with the FHWA's National Bridge Inspection Program.
