Survey Crew Chief / Instrument Operator

Survey Crew Chief and Instrument Operator needed with experience in gathering data for route surveys and topographic surveys in an electronic format. Experience in construction layout is also preferred.  At least 2 years experience, education preferred.  We offer excellent health benefits, attractive retirement and profit sharing program. Bridge Design - Project Manager 

USI has an opening for a Bridge Engineer. The qualified candidate would have the following: B.S. in Civil Engineering – Structural Major; 4 years experience in bridge design; P.E in Indiana preferred; working knowledge of steel and concrete construction; working knowledge of INDOT standards, specifications, and procedures; experience in working with Local Public Agency clients; experience in managing Local Public Agency projects; proficient in industry standard structural design software (i.e. LEAP & Merlin Dash); knowledge of AASHTO Design Standards, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with the public. This individual will be responsible for conducting conceptual design and final design of bridge/transportation projects; communicating status of projects to Department Director; developing and maintaining client relationships for transportation clients. Additionally the position would be responsible for managing the financial, scheduling, and technical aspects for the bridge design projects.
 

Road Design - Project Manager 

USI has an opening for a Road Engineer. The qualified candidate would have the following: B.S. in Civil Engineering – Transportation Major; 4 years experience in transportation design; P.E in Indiana preferred; working knowledge of INDOT standards, specifications, and procedures; experience in working with Local Public Agency clients; experience in managing Local Public Agency projects; proficient in MS Office applications, Autocad - Land Development Desktop; knowledge of AASHTO Design Standards, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with the public. This individual will be responsible for conducting conceptual design and final design of transportation projects; communicating status of projects to Department Director; developing and maintaining client relationships for transportation clients. Additionally the position would be responsible for managing the financial, scheduling, and technical aspects for their projects.
